Sam Bithell hit an unbeaten 66 as Braunton defeated Uplyme & Lyme Regis by seven wickets to knock them off the top of the C East table.
Uplyme, unbeaten on arrival at the Kelsey Ground, were bowled out for 152 in the 42nd of their 45 overs.
The visitors got to 130 for five with runs from Martin Langford (30), Mark Batey (19) and Sam Farrow (34), despite interference from Jon Baglow (2-29) and Steve Moore (2-21).
Dan Brierley (2-19) and Paul Schiller (2-8) got into the bottom half of the order as Uplyme lost their last five wickets for 22 runs.
Bithell opened up with Rob Collier (29) for Braunton and they wiped off the first 54 needed.
Alfie Huxtable (21) was at the other end from Bithell until 102 for two when Sam Reddick (10) was the company in a stand of 46,
Shashank Iyer was in at the end with Bithell as Braunton eased up to fifth in the table.
Bideford slipped to a three-wicket defeat against Chudleigh that has dropped them down to third place in the B Division table.
Veteran opener James Ford played the anchorman role for Bideford with 80 off 129 balls in a 45-over total of 195 for eight.
Ford was last man out on 160 having shared a stand of 58 with James Rowe before he went.
Alex Hannam (21) and Steve Bond (22no) chipped in down the order.
Seamer Jay Hussain (2-8) was miserly with the new ball for Chudleigh and spinner Rob Clarke (3-51) finally prospered once the shine had gone.
Chudleigh laboured at first against Chris Luxton and Bond and were 28 for three when Tristan Ebersohn got out for 25.
Mark Solway, Chudleigh’s man of many seasons, stoppered up one end for 72 balls while Adam Sercombe picked runs at the other during a fourth-wicket stand of 79.
Sercombe batted on and on with support from Adam Kent (27) for an unbeaten 98 that won the game with more than four overs unbowled. He finished with a flourish by dispatching Clayton Malgas for two sixes then a four to win it.
