Being in the community and interacting with our customers is really important to us here at North Devon Homes. The pandemic restrictions meant all our in-person community events were put on hold and whilst we kept connected to our customers through video chats, we are thrilled that the easing of restrictions means we can be with our customers in person once again.
As a community landlord, we are committed to creating communities where people want to live. We believe that building strong and safe communities is just as important as providing homes to live in. We strive to continuously create and improve thriving neighbourhoods and we do this is by listening to, working with and understanding the needs of our customers.
Which is why we are delighted that our Summer Fayre is back after being postponed for the past two years. Alongside our other community events such as coffee mornings and bingo, our Summer Fayre is a great opportunity for us to meet with our customers and get to know our new customers in a great fun day.
The Fayre is all about fun. From soft play, bouncy castles, photobooths and face painting, to games, competitions, stalls and food and drink, there is something for all ages. It’s also a great chance for our residents to meet each other and meet us in an informal setting!
All customers living in a NDH home are invited to attend our free event on Thursday 11th August, and they can even bring along a friend or two for free too! This year the Fayre takes place at a new venue of Petroc, Barnstaple. Every person who attends will receive a free hot meal and alongside the fun and games there are opportunities to find out more about our services and the services of our partners. All of this is made possible thanks to the wonderfully kind sponsorship from our partners Jed Mason Plumbing & Heating, James Electrics and Aico
Our Summer Fayre is a fantastic event on the North Devon Homes calendar that we all look forward to. We hope to see many of our customers, old and new joining us for this day. However, this isn’t the only way for customers to get involved in our community events. We have many other events taking place each month, including coffee mornings at Mariners Close, Sellick Court, The Candar, Magdalene Lawn, bingo at Medard House and clear up days across our communities.
