The North Devon Gazette has new owners. It is one of three titles being sold by current owners Archant to Clear Sky Publishing.
Both companies will be working closely together in the future.to enhance the provision of local media in the region.
Torbay Media Limited is also part of the new company after the successful launch of its community-focussed Torbay Weekly newspaper just over a yearÂ ago.Â The Exeter Life magazine is also transferring to Clear Sky.
Torbay Weekly editorÂ Jim ParkerÂ will serve as the companyâ€™s editor-in-chief.
Archant CEO Lorna Willis said: "Clear Sky has been formed toÂ create a new model for local media using the best traditions of print journalism and the immediacy of social media.
