Children invited to audition for Queen’s Theatre production

CHILDREN aged nine to 15 are invited to audition for a part in the Queen’s Theatre autumn 2011 production of Kisses on a Postcard.

There isn’t much time left, as applications must be in by tomorrow (Thursday) but the forms and all necessary information can be downloaded form

This drama with music is based on the story of one of the UK’s leading playwrights, Terence Frisby, evacuated from London to the West Country during WW2.

The theatre is looking for 22 child actors with unbroken singing voices it hopes to cast in leading roles. Auditions are on Saturday (January 15) at The Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe, at 2, 4 and 6pm.

On Sunday auditions will be at The Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple at 12 noon, 2 and 4pm. Recalls will be January 22 and 23.
