Cats to blame

SIR - With reference to the letters from R.Brown (Opinion, February 1) ) and the writer of the letter the previous week regarding cats, they also forgot to mention that cats are apparently responsible for war, famine, pestilence, most environmental disasters, the sinking of that cruise ship off Italy, and also the unrest in the Middle East.

Perhaps they should stay indoors at all times, eat a vegetarian diet and take regular baths, then all would be well in the world.
