Callum fights to victory on away ground
Callum Greenaway picked up a good win in Exmouth against Mark Weeks from the host club. Â
Greenaway met the aggressive Weeks in the middle of the ring in the first round, firing off with fast combos getting the better of the exchanges. In the second, Greenaway came out with a different approach counterpunching and walking Weeks into heavy punches. Â
Â
Greenaway slipped a jab and landed his own heavy right to wobble Weeks and force a standing count in another dominant round. Greenaway rolled under a right hook to land his own left hook, forcing another standing count and sealing the unanimous points win for the Bideford boxer.Â
James Dearson found himself up against a tricky opponent in the much taller Jacob Burton from Paignton. The pace upped in the 2nd and 3rd with Dearson having plenty of success with body shot but ultimately it wasn’t enough with Burton taking the win on points.Â
