Fire crews deal with leak at A39 mobile diner

FIREMEN prevented a layby from icing over after a burger van sprang a leak in freezing conditions on Sunday afternoon.

A crew from Barnstaple dealt with the burst water pipe at a mobile diner on the A39 near Roundswell at around 4.30pm.

Fire officers stemmed the leak using small tools.
