BUDE Satellites suffered their first defeat of the season in the North Devon Netball League at the hands of Venners Bakery Adders.

The Division 3 match was close all the way through, but Adders moved ahead and kept possession of the ball for the final few minutes to secure their victory.

Also in Division 3, Madeleine Ralph led Carol Anne Jets to a one goal win over Langtree Re-Unites Rivals and North Devon Homes Stars defeated Titans Pluto by two goals.

Top division teams Carol Anne Diamonds and Titans Apollo showed their class with big wins, ready for their next regional match this weekend.

Accurate shooting by Faye Ward and Amy Capner enabled Langtree Re-Unites Rivals and Carol Anne Rubies to dominate their Division 2 matches.

Div 1A: Carol Anne Diamonds 54, Titans Neptune 16; Titans Apollo 49, Titans Jupiter.

Div 1B: Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park 39, Titans Saturn 14; Pat Williams Girls 24, Venners Bakery Baby Cobras 20.
