Britain’s Got Talent star heads to North Devon

RONAN Parke, runner-up in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent TV show, will join the local bands and other artists at the Sunday Funday being held in the gardens of castle Hill, Filleigh on Sunday, July 10.

With only a week to go, tickets are still available for this concert and for the evening with Russell Watson on the preceding Saturday.

Russell Watson – the highly acclaimed British tenor - will make his North Devon debut accompanied by The National Symphony Orchestra and Special guest soprano Natasha Marsh. This is his final concert in a tour which has taken him all over England and to the far corners of the globe.

Sunday Funday promises entertainment for all the family and the addition of 12-year-old Ronan Parke to the line-up is the icing on the cake.

Ronan is an exceptional talent as evidenced during his Britain’s Got Talent audition, when he brought the whole theatre, including the judges, to a standing ovation. The judges were moved to comment; “You said you took the day off school…Well I wouldn’t bother going back”; “You’ve taken a room and you’ve just blown the roof off it”.

Ronan will be performing alongside Rebecca Ferguson and Aiden Grimshaw – both of X Factor fame – and Chris and Wes, winners of Got To Dance.

Full details of both events can be found on and Tickets are available from The Plough Arts Centre Box Office on (01805) 624624 or online at
