BRAUNTON remain third in the B Division 2nd XI table, and moved within two points of second-placed Heathcoat after they beat Bideford II by 112 runs.

Brady Saunders (90), Ross Burbidge (42) and Dave Cresswell (40), were the main run providers in a Braunton total of 228 for six.

Darren Willcocks and Dave Smale both bagged a brace of wickets for Bideford, who were then bowled out for just 116 with only Luke Kerr and Fred King (22) making any impression.

Mark Johnson had fabulous figures of seven for 29 for Braunton.
