Bouncing to success

FOUR members of the Bideford Bouncers Trampoline Club bounced back from the South West regional trampolining competition at Thornbury in Bristol with three silver medals and a fourth place.

There was silver for Megan Spearman in the U15 girls, Mollie Banford in the U18 girls and Sarah Jane McIndoe in the O18 handicapped events. Jessica Bailey took fourth in the U15 girls.

The Bouncers, who train under Sue Furniss and the club’s coaching team, were competing against 130 other competitors from seven clubs throughout the South West.

The club, which trains at Bideford College and Kingsley School, is celebrating its 20th year.
