Body found by dog walker

Grim Christmas Eve discovery near Braunton

A WOMAN’S body has been found by a dog walker near Braunton.

The body, discovered at Willingcott at 3.10pm on Christmas Eve, has not been identified, although police believe it may be that of a holidaymaker reported missing in September.

Dawn Eastment, 79, from Dorset, was last seen at the Hidden Valley Caravan Park at nearby West Down on September 29.
