Bideford warming to winter league

BIDEFORD Rifle Club has had much better results in the latest rounds of their winter league season.

The Devon Winter League and National Short Range League competitions brought six wins out of six, although there were three defeats in five North Devon League matches.

Bideford C remain unbeaten after five Devon Winter League rounds to take top place in Division 5 while the B team is second in Division 3.

In the North Devon League the Bideford E team are unbeaten leaders of Division 3 and the A and C teams are both in second place in their divisions.

Devon Winter League: Bideford A 481, Okehampton A 480; Bideford B 476, Okehampton B 459; Bideford C 470, Broadclyst A 464.

North Devon League: Bideford A 388, Bogey 390.4; Bideford B 292 , Okehampton A 385; Bideford C 386, Bogey 378.8; Bideford D 364, Tiverton B 378; Bideford E 370, Bogey 349.5.

National Short Range League: Bideford A 481, Sunderland B 477; Bideford B 378, Portlethen 477; Bideford C 465, Bicester B 458.
