Barnstaple FoodFest this Sunday

Food glorious food plus celebrity demos on how to cook it at one of the region’s top foodie festivals.

THE Pannier Market in Barnstaple is the place to go this Sunday for anyone who likes to sup an ale, sample local produce or watch top notch celebrity cookery demonstrations.

The third annual FoodFest, sponsored by Mole Valley Farmers and co-ordinated by North Devon Plus, takes place from 10am- 3.30pm and will feature 75 of the region’s top local producers offering everything from cheese and farm meats to chocolate and ciders.

Five of the regions top chefs will be cooking up a storm on the main stage, in the shape of Michael Caines MBE, Chris Tanner, Dez Turland of the Brend Hotel Group, plus Mark Dodson from the Masons Arms at Knowstone and Noel Corston of The Courtyard Restaurant, Woolacombe.
