Barn fire at South Molton

Three fire crews plus support tackle blaze

THREE fire engines plus the water foam carrier from Barnstaple were called to a barn fire at South Molton on Saturday afternoon.

The incident just before 3pm was located at Johnstone moor, Folly Lane and on arrival a telehandler was used to drag four large straw bales from the blaze, which was extinguished and a thermal camera used to check for hot spots.
