Baby freed from locked room

FIREFIGHTERS were tasked with reuniting a baby and mother at a home in Barnstaple yesterday evening (Sunday).

A crew from the town had to use small tools and a ladder to reach a seven-month-old baby accidentally locked in a room in Laburnum Drive, Whiddon Valley.
