AMERICAN Alison Riske and doubles pair Andrea Hlavackova and Michaella Krajicek took the singles and doubles titles at the AEGON GB Pro-Series in Barnstaple, one of the top women's tennis tournaments in the UK.

Although not seeded, Riske had beaten three seeded players on her route to the final, including the number one seed in the first round.

In the final she comfortably defeated Sweden's Johanna Larsson, the No 2 seed and defending champion, 6-2, 6-0.

Both players had been crowd favourites throughout the tournament, making for a popular final.

The doubles final saw the No 1 seeds Andrea Hlavackova from the Czech Republic and Michaella Krajicek from the Netherlands defeat the No 3 seeds Sandra Klemenschits from Austria and Tatjana Malek from Germany 7-6(4), 6-2 in a highly contested match.

This was their first title on just the second occasion they have played together in 2010 and the pair were clearly delighted with the win.
