Alfie drives Croyde to success

CROYDE Juniors were driven to success at the Devon Stillwater Championships in Barnstaple on Sunday by the best wishes of missing member Alfie Reed.

Alfie, one of the club’s best juniors, was recently admitted to Bristol Children’s Hospital, having been diagnosed with leukemia.

Complete with ‘We love Alfie’ tattoos, the 18 Croyde members scooped 46 medals.

Croyde medal tally: Gold - two each to Maisie Lawton, Jasmine Bennett, Holly Greenway, Flora Lawton; silvers - four Joe Windsor, three each to Sebastian Latham, Will Honey, Stevie Ray, Latham and Flora Lawton, two to Maisie Lawton and one each to Jasmine Bennett, Holly Greenway, Charlie Greenway and Jordan Raymond; bronzes – two each to Joe Windsor, Charlie Greenway, Jordan Raymond, Stefan Griggs, Taz Knight and Flora Lawton, one each to Maisie Lawton, Jasmine Bennett, Olivia Bennett, and Ellen Raymond.
