Activities for youngsters in North Devon this Easter

YOUNG people in North Devon can enjoy free and low-cost entertainment and activities this Easter thanks to local youth arts group Seize the Moment.

Events including music, song writing and drumming, street dance, drama games, graffiti art, t-shirt design, gaming, cake making and decoration will be taking place in Instow, Swimbridge, South Molton, Newport, Chulmleigh, Fremington, Woolsery, Northam and Westward Ho!

The sessions are aimed at young people over the age of 10 and provided in partnership with North Devon and Torridge district councils as part of the Play Project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

“We a holding over 40 free and low cost activities in eight communities this month to enable as many young people as possible to have access to holiday clubs,” said Jane Elliott, lead youth worker.

Venues: Instow Village Hall - Tuesday and Wednesday, April 12/13 and April 19/20; Jubilee Hall, Swimbridge - Monday, April 11/18; Chulmleigh Sports Hall - Thursday, April 14; South Molton Scout Hall - Friday April 15/22.
