Action group opens Combe Martin drop-in centre
Barnstaple Poverty Action Group (BPAG) has opened a new community drop-in service in Combe Martin.
The Gateway Rural Outreach Project is funded by the Tudor Trust and operates a number of community hubs around North Devon.
The service is designed to provide help and support on a wide range of issues such as housing, welfare benefits, form filling, debt management, budgeting, community banking and training/employment.
It also incorporates referrals and signposting to or from other agencies where appropriate. The service is free, private and confidential.
The drop-in complements the service already available in Ilfracombe and Lynton to help reach the smaller communities of rural North Devon. It operates from the Parish Hall every Monday from 10am-1pm, and afternoons by appointment.
Anyone with an issue they would like to discuss or need help with, should telephone 07971819147 for further information or an appointment.
