Don’t miss acoustic guitarist Martin Harley at the Boston Tea Party.

KICKING off the first ever Boston Tea Party Music Club Tour is talented and critically acclaimed singer songwriter guitarist Martin Harley, who will be playing in Barnstaple on Saturday, December 11.

Martin is an exciting and unique contemporary slide guitarist, blending swinging Americana with heavier acoustic blues-rock and delicate ballads of exceptional beauty.

A life long devotion to acoustic guitar music which draws on many diverse influences from around the world together with his unique lap playing style has led to many outstanding reviews and a very loyal following.

In 2009 the Martin Harley Band supported James Morrison on his UK tour and played two critically acclaimed shows at Glastonbury. He first played at the Boston Tea Party in June of this year as part of the North Devon Fringe Festival – his sell event was such a success that Martin and the Boston Tea Party decided to put together a series of gigs across five Boston Tea Party cafes throughout the South West.

He will be supported on Saturday night in Barnstaple by local musician Jim Jones. Tickets are 8 - call (01271) 329070 or drop in to the venue in Tuly Street.
