A new year and lots to do at Swimbridge House

The new year is under way at Swimbridge House Nursing Home and residents have been enjoying plenty of activities and hearty meals to see them through the cold months.

The home is as ever committed to providing a high level of care for its residents and this includes ensuring they are helped to live their lives as independently as possible.

Residents are offered plenty of daily activities to provide physical and mental stimulation.

Our days revolves around our residents and their preferred routines and lifestyles to meet their selected choices.Â

We know that good nutrition and regular physical activity play a protective role in the well-being of our residents.

They are offered a number of meals throughout the day and are able to choose their food based on personal preferences.

Research has shown that social interaction is very important for maintaining a high quality of life and as such, the home is very dedicated to ensuring that residents are able to enjoy a variety of social occasions.

The first month of this new year has seen activities such as music classes, bingo and some physical exercises to get movement!
