Catch Beauty and the Beast at Kingsley Hall on January 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, & 28

Westward Ho! Follies have joined the beauty and the Beast trend to present their own version of the famous fairy tale.

The show plays at the Kingsley Hall this Friday (January 19) at 7pm and again on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm, with three more shows at the same times on January 26-28.

The long-standing community panto group are following in the footsteps of the Queen’s Theatre and Bideford College to present Beauty this panto season.

Director Liz Raymont said: “I think our version has the edge on the others as we combine the romance of the age-old story with the usual panto mayhem for which the Follies are famous.

“Whilst we don’t have a Gaston we have a Dwayne, Beauty’s sister Listeria, and the three village maidens, Shiraz, Lambrini, and Chardonnay. What parts do they play in the plot? Well, you’ll have to come along and find out.”

On opening night all tickets are £4, then £6.50 for adults and £5 for children/recycled teenagers or £20 family.

For tickets call 07547 535042 or email follieswestwardho@gmail.com.
