Afternoon of teddy bear fun at St Peter Ad Vincula Church in Combe Martin on Saturday September 9

Brave teddy bears are invited to take the terrifying plunge from Combe Martin Parish Church this Saturday.

The Teddies from the Tower event at St Peter Ad Vincula Church runs from 2 to 5pm and will be raising money for the Messy Church activity group.

It is 50p for every ted that wishes to tackle the tower and the brave participant will receive a certificate.

Their owners and parents are also invited along to enjoy a host of teddy bear-related activities including a Teddy Bear Treasure Hunt, free teddy crafts, as colouring competition, Name That Teddy and a Teddy Expedition plus lots more.

There is also a 50p per activity stall including a lucky dip and face-painting.

The Messy Church sessions are held once a month on a Saturday morning in the Village Hall in Combe Martin.

It is an opportunity for all ages to come together for a time of creativity, food and fun! The morning includes a time of creative play through crafts, exploring a bible theme and probably getting a bit messy.
