BIDEFORD Town Band has been presented with two plaques as a permanent symbol the support it receives.

Bideford Mayor Cllr Simon Inch presented one of the plaques on behalf of Bideford Town Council, and Cllr Trevor Johns the other on behalf of Bideford Bridge Trust.

The two organisations supported the band as it moved into its own band room last year.

The plaques will be on permanent display inside the band room.

Anyone interested in getting involved can visit www.bidefordtownband.co.uk or contact Becky on 01237 475653.
