May the force be with you as costumed characters from the films descend on the Clovelly attraction next weekend.
THE Milky Way Adventure Park will be transported to a galaxy far, far away next Saturday and Sunday (August 31/September 1)when it is overrun with authentic Stars Wars characters.
Darth Vader, Imperial Stormtroopers, Boba Fett and even Tuskan Raiders will stalk the halls with impunity, daring impudent sightseers to have their photograph taken with them.
Fortunately a few Jedi Knights will be around to ensure the Empire’s finest don’t get too rowdy.
The 501st UK Garrison, the world’s largest and most accurate Star Wars costuming club, is back at the attraction near Clovelly after visiting at Easter.
The fees charged go towards the Garrison’s chosen children’s charities.
“They really are very impressive and it is so unexpected to turn the corner and see Darth Vader flanked by storm troopers,” said owner Trevor Stanbury.
“Fortunately the Jedi Knights did manage to save the Milky Way galaxy from doom last time they visited, so fingers crossed we’ll all be safe again.”
Any children in Star Wars fancy dress will get into The Milky Way for half price and there will be prizes for the best costumes.
