TICKETS to see Jack Dee’s return to the stage in Barnstaple sold out within hours of the show’s announcement.

The special performance at the Queen’s Theatre on Thursday, April 12 was only announced on Wednesday morning but tickets were snapped up within 48 hours.

The date has been organised to enable the comedian to road-test material for a new 2012 tour, following a six-year break in stand-up comedy.

Jack, star of hit shows Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 Cats, and Have I Got News For You, said he was returning to the live stage “to spend less time with my family”.

The show promises to be an hilarious look at life’s slightest annoyances and misdemeanours and if you’ve missed the chance to get tickets, fear not.

Look out for a competition to win two tickets in a future edition of the North Devon Gazette.
