Music lovers are invited to support their local NHS services with a packed benefit gig at Tapeley Park on Saturday (October 7)
A benefit gig to support local NHS services will be held at Tapeley Park, Instow, this Saturday.
Owner Hector Christie has made the venue available for the Save Our Hospital Services (SOHS) event, which will feature live music from 2pm until midnight.
Well-known local performers and bands taking part include Chris Jones with acoustic soul, Last Rancheros with rockin’ blues and country, Basil’s Balls Up Band (hilarious musical fun), the 11-piece Soul Intentions SW, reggae band Regs, Doc Malfait and the Intemperants plus DJs.
The gig will be hosted in the Great Barn and as well as the music, other surprise events will be taking place around the grounds throughout the day.
All proceeds from the event will go to SOHS.
The campaign group has fought and continues to fight to keep acute hospital services such as stroke, A and E, maternity and paediatrics in North Devon.
