AFTER the success of its Winter Warmers programme in 2011, Beaford Arts is once again opening the spring season with talented maritime musicians Shake a Leg.

This year Beaford has teamed up with Bideford Folk Club to bring the maritime songs and stories, humour and harmony to Welcombe and Winkleigh this Friday and Saturday (January 28/29.)

The group brings together eight great singers and musicians from across the West Country who share a love both of songs-of-the-sea and of a good night out.

Entertainment and variety are guaranteed with contemporary and music-hall songs rubbing alongside more traditional material.
