DEDICATED knitters are gearing up for the Great North Devon Knit-In to raise money for North Devon Hospice. On or around Wednesday February 15 groups of friends, family, WI members or colleagues are invited to get together for a two-hour sponsored knit. The resulting strips are put to good use - hospice volunteers Barbara Osborn and Joyce Fowler (pictured here) spend many hours sewing knitted strips together to make blankets for good causes. To sign up, or for more information, contact Rebecca Worth on 01271 347204 or email rebeccaworth@northdevonhospice.org.uk.
