HUMOUR, harmony and the waving of limbs will feature at Broomhill Art Hotel near Barnstaple as maritime singers Shake A Leg perform at a charity evening for Shelterbox on Friday, February 17.
The event has been organised by Braunton Caen Rotary member Peter Little and the £10 entry includes plenty of entertainment from the eight strong group plus a Mediterranean supper.
Shake a Leg are becoming well known in the South West for their love of maritime songs and stories, humour and harmony, proving popular at a variety of north Devon venues.
“We had a sell out evening at Broomhill last year when a substantial amount was raised for Shelterbox and I am sure tickets will be in great demand yet again,” said Peter Little.
“With so many disasters happening throughout the world, Shelterbox tents and equipment are being dispatched on a regular basis, this is all achieved solely on public donations.”
The venue is on the main road between Barnstaple and Muddiford and doors open at 7.30pm. Booking is essential – call (01271) 850262.
