If you haven’t seen Wille and the Bandits live yet, you really should.

The South Devon roots rock trio are playing at St Mary’s Hall in Appledore on Saturday (February 3) from 7.30pm, with support from Braunton’s Sam Green.

Hailed as one of the most impressive live acts of a generation, Wille and co bring a unique roots rock sound forth from a variety of instruments.

The band is famous for creating an astonishingly huge sound, incorporating eclectic grooves from world music to heavy rock.

They play some 200 gigs a year and are incredibly tight.

There has been some high praise indeed, with The Telegraph calling them ‘one of the best live acts in the country’ and there has been praise from rock from legends such as Ian Paice, Joe Bonamassa and Francis Rossi.

Tickets for Saturday’s show are £12 advance from www.freeoftigersevents.co.uk or £15 on the door.
