Umberleigh Panto celebrates its 30th anniversary this week with Panto Pandemonium at Umberleigh Village Hall.
Three decades ago some locals got together and decided some winter cheer was needed and The Really Useless Theatre Company was born.
This year the show is on Friday and Saturday as well as Friday and Saturday, March 2-3 at 7.30pm, with a compilation of some of the traditional pantos from past years written by several members of the cast.
In the second half there will be a series of sketches from past years as voted by the members of the audience.
Each evening performance includes a ploughman’s supper with the £7.50 ticket, plus a 4.30pm children’s matinee will be playing this Saturday.
Over the years the panto group has raised more than £62,000 for many local charities.
Tickets are available daily from Murch’s Emporium on the bridge at Umberleigh between 10am-noon.
