As July’s North Devon Relay for Life approaches, horse riders help to get the fundraising galloping ahead

On Sunday a troop of purple-clad riders rode from West Down to Putsborough beach for the first Relay for Life Ride.

A total of 25 riders of all ages took part and raised £575 for Cancer Research UK.

It was also held to promote this year’s North Devon Relay for Life at Barnstaple Rugby Club on July 23-24.

The ride was organised by Relay committee member Bonnie Stainer and pictures were taken on the day by James Dashwood.
