Bideford U10s put in a fantastic team effort against Bude, resulting in 75-20 win.

Try scorers for Bideford were Herbie Lockett (3), Cory Illing (2), Oliver Hannam (4), William Lamana (2), Dan Craner, Ryan Pluckrose and Finn Home (2).

A quick flowing match between two evenly matched teams resulted in Bideford U11s winning 20-19 against Bude.

Try scorers were man of the match Jack Webber (2), Raffi Rands-Silva and Max Walker.

Owen Seward was man of the match in Bideford U12s 50-21 defeat by a powerful Bude side.

Bideford U14s had a makeshift look about them at Tavistock, where they dipped to a 34-5 defeat.

Tavvy were only 10-5 up at the break – Hayden Morris crossing for Bideford – but capitalised on weak tackling to pull clear.

Bideford U9s rounded off an unbeaten season with a 65-30 win over Bude.

All that remains for the U9s now is a tournament and fun day against teams from outside the area to be held at Bideford’s ground on Sunday, March 25.

Bideford U8s played two games against Bude, going down 45-20 in the first, and 45-35 in the second

Try scorers for Bideford were Samuel Pichillo Jacob Stevenson, Matthew Lewis and Sam Abbot.

Team managers are already looking for extra players to bolster the squad for next season. Any lads interested should report for training on Wednesday evenings at 6pm.
