A PAIR of Woolacombe boys have triumphed in a Somerset triathlon.

Shaun Duffield won in his category, while Ben Woodland came second in his.

The duo, who both cycle for local clubs Tor Velo and North Devon Wheelers, impressed against a number of seasoned locals far more used to the course than them, and brought home their trophies to cap a fantastic result – in their first-ever triathlons.

Thanks were given to coaches Keith and Michelle Gammon, Tony Ross, Pete Morish and Darren Armstrong.
