Great Torrington School pupils were winners at the Devon Winter School Games.

The Streetz Supectz dance crew opened the event with an amazing performance which drew cheers and applause from the 1,400 spectators and were winners of the Aesthetic Movement cultural competition.

They won a 2012 Olympics Mandeville mascot and a visit to Plymouth University to work with Toby G, a professional Hip Hop dancer, choreographer and teacher, who runs Street Factory.

Student Ollie Benson won the Music Cultural competition and won a 2012 Olympics Wenlock mascot and a visit to Plymouth University to use their music studio and gain advice and guidance on mixing and laying down one of his own tracks.
