A Big clash in Intermediate One was between leading duo Barnstaple FC and Torridgeside Reserves.
Barnstaple won 4-2 to extend their commanding lead at the top while Torridgeside slipped to third behind Ilfracombe 3rds on goal difference.
Free-scoring Connor Nash hit two Barnstaple goals, but the day belonged to his uncle Tom Nash, who also scored twice to reach the milestone of his 100th goal for the club.
Barnstaple were 2-0 up at the break, but the second half was equally shared as Rory Payne and Nathan Sussex struck for Torridgeside.
Northside Atlantic were 4-1 winners away to High Bickington. Neil Armstrong scored from a free kick and Vinny Bott from a tight angle to give them a 2-0 lead before High Bick got a goal on the break by John Butler.
Damo Shaddick rounded the keeper to make it 3-1 at half time and as the second half turned into a mud bath Shaddick added a second to make it 4-1.
High Bick had a penalty chance with five minutes left, but Darren Avery hit the bar and the rebound was headed over.
Woolacombe and Mortehoe remain in the top mix following their 6-1 win at home to bottom club Sporting Barum.
