Titans netball team are at the top of county league after a 46-37 win over Exeter Wasps.

The first quarter was evenly matched, with nerves on both sides, but Titans edged 11-9 ahead.

Titans’ defence connected well in the second quarter, with Michelle Sampson and Louise Moir turning over many passages of play.

At half time they led 23-17 and good team play throughout the court saw them extend this to 36-25 by the end of the third quarter.

The 11-goal gap was maintained in the final quarter for a fine victory.

Final score 46-37

Player of the match went to Louise Moir who had a strong game at GK.
