THREE players from Barnstaple water polo club successfully trailed in Exeter to represent Devon in the ASA Southwest 12 and under Intercounty championships this month.

The Barnstaple players were not only the top three in terms of overall scores on the objective side of the test, but their overall skills in the match were also the best of all 21 attendees at the trial, said the Devon coach. As a result, Milly Wordley and Florence Moore (pictured) and Danny Roberts (captain) were chosen to play in the Devon team which finmished second in the tournament.
