Witheridge’s winning run halted by Ivybridge
Witheridge’s impressive early season form was brought to an end with a 2-0 defeat at home to Ivybridge Town on Monday.
Witheridge had topped the table over the weekend but their first loss of the season has seen them drop to fourth – although they only trail the league leaders on goal difference.
They notched four wins in a row to start the season, keeping their winning run going with a 4-0 win over Cullompton last Tuesday and a 5-2 win at Liskeard Athletic on Saturday.
The North Devon side have looked very impressive going forwards, scoring 12 times in their first four games, but were frustrated by the visitors from the South Hams.
Witheridge host Camelford this weekend, who have also looked good in their opening games clocking up four wins from five matches.
