Retiring captain Ted Tithecott recently presented Tim Malone of Northam Lodge with a cheque for £1,500 the proceeds from his charity collections for the year. New captain Peter Brown has nominated Northam Lodge and Help for Heroes as his charities for 2013.

TEAM WHISKY COMPETITION: 15 teams of four competed in the first Team Whisky of 2013 with two scores to count on each hole, with the winners decided on count back - with two teams on 86 points. Dave Miller, Norwood Cripps, Maurice Heather & new member Kevin Brown took the prize from Alick Welton, Hugh Bone, Tony Barnes & Mike Taylor.
