Bideford ease relegation fears with comfortable win
BIDEFORD eased their relegation worries significantly with a 22-0 win over South West One strugglers Sidmouth.
Bideford aren’t out of danger yet, but have moved four points clear of the drop zone with two games in hand over Wadebridge, the only one of the three teams below who can catch them.
Ollie Wickett kicked a penalty to put Bideford ahead at the break.
Bideford’s first try came when they created an overlap for Chris Snell to score on the right.
The overlap was worked again to send Tom Evans through on the left.
Wickett converted the second try and also one scored by Dave Evans from a lie-out.
Bideford are back at King George V this Saturday for a delayed game against Camborne.
