Geoffrey Savory finds the cup on the 11th - just weeks after clubmate Valerie’s hole-in-one
A North Molton golfer has become the second to receive a limited-edition BOSS watch for scoring a hole-in-one in a competition at Libbaton Golf Club.
Geoffrey Savory, 71, scored his ace on the 135-yard, par-three 11th at, and the 19-handicapper was rewarded with membership of the exclusive BOSS Watches H1 Club and a specially-commissioned, commemorative timepiece.
Geoffrey’s hole-in-one comes only weeks after Valerie Symons also received a watch from BOSS for a hole-in-one on the same course, albeit the 161-yard 17th.
The company is rewarding all golfers who find the hole from the tee in a club competition before October 31 with an exclusive watch – which could amount to around £1million-worth of prizes being given out to members of the 1,800 partaking clubs.
