Robins ready for new test

New season brings big new challenge for Bideford.

BIDEFORD kick off their Evo-Stik Southern League campaign with a trip to Warwickshire on Saturday.

The Robins will play fellow Premier Division newcomers Bedworth United, who were promoted from Division One Central via a 3-1 play-off final win against Beaconsfield SYCOB last season.

On Tuesday night, Bideford will welcome South and West play-off winners Gosport Borough at the Sports Ground on Tuesday night.

On Saturday, Kevin Squire scored the only goal as Bideford beat Toolstation Western League Premier Division champions and newly-promoted Southern League side Merthyr Town 1-0 in a friendly at the Sports Ground.
