Local youngsters chosen for Park School’s gifted and talented day

Forty two pupils from primary schools who were nominated as being gifted and talented in PE and sport were offered the opportunity to show their abilities and potential during The Park School’s annual day for them.

Their day began with a presentation of young and successful British sportsmen and women, highlighting the attitude and approach needed to be successful in sport. This was followed by three practical sessions during which the pupils demonstrated their prowess and gave them the opportunity to exhibit their practical, decision making and teamwork skills, as well as any potential to become leaders.

Their day finished with a review of their challenges and presentation of certificates.
