North Devon League sea angling results for February.

DESPITE a reasonable break in the weather it was a hard weekend for sea anglers who ventured out to fish the February North Devon League heat.

The fish didn’t want to play and most competitors struggled to find anything of size. Antony Smith did well, however, taking first place for Bideford with a rockling of 1lb 6 ¾ ounces.

Second went to Kevin Pike for Appledore with a good dogfish of 2lb 6 ½ oz while Antony wnet on to take third place too with a dogfish of 2lb 5 ½.

The next heat is on the weekend of March 15-16, with the weigh in at Bideford.
