After their temporary hiccup, leaders Putford Reserves returned to explosive form with an 11-0 win away to bottom-of-the-table Woolsery Reserves.
Mark Merrick and Ben Baggot both hit hat-tricks, but were bettered by four from Bradley Prouse. Stuart Ley hit the other.
Second-placed Braunton 4ths maintained their push for the top, winning 3-1 win away to lowly North Molton 3rds.
Fremington Reserves are getting stronger and issued a stern warning at the weekend with 12 goals and two comfortable league wins.
With Caine Perry returning to their midfield and Darren Vaughan and Dan Wall back in action, Fremington are looking to climb the Intermediate Two table.
They took two steps forward with an 8-0 win at home to South Molton Reserves on Saturday and a 4-1 result away to Chittlehampton reserves on Sunday.
Perry marked his return with goals in both of the games. Keidan Everest netted a brace and Andrew Blanche was also among the Saturday scorers while Lee Burn ‘Merv’ Cassidy and Ron Elworthy also netted in the Sunday game.
