Hartland are top of Intermediate One following two wins in a week.
Another goalfest local derby with Clovelly saw Hartland reverse their previous 5-4 defeat with a 6-2 win with goals by Jack Coleman, Alex Slee, Daniel Slee, Mike Nugent, Richard Davey and Mark Rothwell.
They followed up with a 5-2 win at home to Equalizers, Steven Heard hitting a hat-trick and other goals coming from Richard Davey and Danny Slee.
Barnstaple FC dropped their first points of the season when held to a 3-3 draw by fellow contenders Landkey midweek. But they were back on track with a 6-0 win away to Barnstaple AAC Res on Saturday, with goals by Sam Phillips (2), Connor Nash (2), Keith McClure and Sean Passmore.
High Bickington also chalked up two wins, both against Torrington Res.After a 2-1 result away from home midweek they added a 4-2 win on Saturday.
They always had their noses in front, but twice the visitors came back to level before two late goals pulled them through. Aaron Moan, Darren Avery, Matt Tyrell and Ben Prosser were the High Bick scorers.
Torridgeside Res followed a 4-3 midweek defeat by Anchor Chiefs with a 10-goal thriller at home to Braunton 3rds, winning 6-4. Sam Pett, Jethro Kimber and Darren Stacey scored two apiece.
