IT was unlucky 13 for Northam Lions Reserves as they went down heavily to Woolacombe and Moretehoe .

Andy Ley scored the first for Woolacombe after five minutes and then the floodgates opened, with nine players getting their names on the scoresheet. Chay Isaac (3), Andy Woodman (2), James Dyer (2), Adam Baxter, Tom Hannah, Paddy Weathers - the best of the match with a 30-yard half-volley. Wayne Potter came off the bench and saw his first shot from the penalty spot come back, but netted the rebound, and manager Elliott Moore also came off the bench to finish off the 13-1 victory.

The Lions, including three 16-year-olds, had Ben Rolf to thank for their consolation goal.

Unbeaten divisional leaders Barnstaple FC strolled through 8-2 away to Hartland, but not without some anxious moments.

Barnstaple were 3-0 up within 10 minutes, but when Hartland pulled one back and were then awarded a penalty, the pressure was on. Danny Cheetham made a good penalty save, however, to take the heat from a potential turning point and Barnstaple went on from there. Connor Nash (3), Stuart McKinnon (2), Maurice Charley, Keith McClure and Andy Vernon scored for Barnstaple and Hartland’s goals were by Richard Davey and Daniel Slee.

Anchor Chiefs were 5-0 winners away to Landkey. Right back Steve Parish opened the scoring with a 20-yard volley and Joe Barker made it 2-0 by the break. Marcus Jarvis marked his debut with two goals in 10 minutes and Darren Reeks scored the fifth with one minute remaining.

The odd goal of five decided the clash between Torridgeside Reserves and Ilfracombe 3rds. Jethro Kimber, Sam Pett and an own goal gave Torridgeside victory. Ilfracombe responded through Zak Humphries and Tom Goldsworthy.

Barnstaple AAC Reserves also hit a handful with a 5-1 win over High Bickington. They took the lead in the middle of the first half with a Mark Beades tap in and increased it before half-time with a curled shot from Conner Heney. Steve Isaac added two after the break. High Bickington pulled one back before Karl Smith added another at the end.

The score was 3-0 win to

Northside Atlantic were 3-0 winners at home to Sporting Barum, their goals coming from Carl Armstrong, Damian Shaddick and an own goal.

Equalizers had a good 3-1 win away to Braunton 3rds with goals from Mathew Mitchell, Ben Taylor and Matt Hawkins, with Chris Ives scoring for Braunton.
